MicroPower Global has been selected as one of the leading cleantech companies invited to present at the Global Cleantech Summit 2016 in Beijing.

The Global Cleantech Summit, themed "The Accelerator 100 Project," is a leadership platform and dialogue on China's and global cleantech solutions, aimed at the effective commercialisation of clean technologies. It focuses on the key technology areas that could drive fundamental change in China's energy, industrial and economic development.

The Summit brings together leading cleantech companies, industrial leaders, investors and government leaders from China and the wider international community. Clean technologies are driving renewed global economic growth, and China has become the world's largest market for them: a record US$391 billion flowed into low-carbon and climate-resilient growth in 2014, with China accounting for 22% of the global total.

"I am honoured to have been invited to present MicroPower to government and business leaders at the Global Cleantech Summit," said Max Lewinsohn, MicroPower's Chairman. "Our technology has global appeal in generating power from heat efficiently, saving energy and reducing emissions. We look forward to developing close working relationships in the hugely important Chinese marketplace."

About MicroPower: MicroPower Global develops advanced thermoelectric generators and cooling systems that convert industrial waste heat into clean electricity. With an international patent portfolio and third-party testing and validation across NREL, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, NIST, Bechtel-Bettis, and Texas State, MicroPower's technology operates at 3–5× the efficiency of any commercial alternative.
