MicroPower Global has been selected to present at CleanEquity Monaco 2013, the annual invitation-only cleantech investment conference held in Monaco.
CleanEquity Monaco is hosted by Innovator Capital, the London-based specialist cleantech investment bank. MicroPower was identified by an expert panel as one of the world's most innovative cleantech companies and selected to present to senior financial and strategic investors, policy makers, legislators, end users and media.
MicroPower is a private company, formed in late 2008, developing technology in the area of energy conversion. Its solid-state device converts a temperature difference directly into electricity, with no moving parts, offering significant energy savings across a range of industrial and military applications. The technology is protected by an international patent portfolio, and the material has been independently tested by recognised bodies including the US National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Army Research Laboratory.
To complete product development and begin production quickly and cost-effectively, MicroPower partnered with Texas State University, which recently opened a new Science, Technology and Advanced Research Park providing the company's initial production facilities.
About MicroPower: MicroPower Global develops advanced thermoelectric generators and cooling systems that convert industrial waste heat into clean electricity. With an international patent portfolio and third-party testing and validation across NREL, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, NIST, Bechtel-Bettis, and Texas State, MicroPower's technology operates at 3–5× the efficiency of any commercial alternative.
