MicroPower and RSI Team Up to Develop Thermoelectric Solutions

March 2017 Press Release
RSI Partnership

MicroPower has entered a collaborative agreement with RSI, an integrated solution provider supporting the defence and aerospace industries, to design, develop and manufacture thermoelectric power-generation products.

RSI, established in 1983 and based in Kyle, Texas, supports major original equipment manufacturers and subcontractors and brings expertise in product ruggedisation, integration and manufacturing, along with established marketing and sales channels. Its location close to MicroPower's facilities in San Marcos makes for efficient collaboration and rapid product design-and-development cycles.

"Entering a partnership with an established and well-respected organisation such as RSI provides many benefits from both a product-development and a marketing perspective," said Max Lewinsohn, MicroPower's Chairman. "We have already identified a number of applications that fit both companies' technical and business objectives, and we look forward to bringing products to market."

The companies expected their first jointly developed product to complete prototype testing and customer sampling during 2017.
