MicroPower Global has issued a Letter of Support to Triton Systems Inc. for a collaborative product-development effort to build and integrate thermoelectric power-harvesting systems.
The solution draws on the efficiency and durability of MicroPower's Series 200 modules to produce continuous electrical power for up to two years without maintenance. The companies executed a subcontractor agreement in July 2019, under which MicroPower provides thermoelectric modules, design-engineering consultation and testing services to Triton.
The companies completed Phase 1 of their first joint project in December 2019 and planned further activities for 2020. Triton, headquartered in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is a global product-venturing and investment company that builds product-driven enterprises through a proprietary stage-gate process.
